PICHON expands its SV slurry tanker range with the new SV10R and SV14
PICHON continues to expand its SV slurry tanker range with the introduction of two new capacities: the 10,500-litre SV10R and the 14,500-litre SV14. These two models further strengthen the existing range, providing solutions that more closely meet the needs of farmers, machinery cooperatives and contractors, particularly in hilly and mountainous areas.
An increasingly comprehensive and versatile SV range
Built around one key principle – versatility – the SV range enables users to configure their slurry tanker according to their current requirements, while retaining the possibility of upgrading their equipment over time. As part of this ongoing development, PICHON continues to harmonise its range with several product updates: a standardised level gauge across all SV models, the introduction of new MITAS tyres, a new optional side-mounted filling accelerator, as well as a grey paint finish.
These new features further improve day-to-day operating comfort and reliability. The level gauge replaces the previous glass tube indicator, while the MITAS tyres provide a wider footprint, rounded shoulders and good self-cleaning properties. The side-mounted filling accelerator, which can be installed on either the left or right-hand side depending on requirements, provides additional flexibility during filling operations. As an option, the grey paint finish (RAL 7037) completes these developments, helping to improve exterior resistance while making daily cleaning easier.
SV10R: compact dimensions for demanding environments
Positioned between the SV8R and SV12R, the new SV10R features compact overall dimensions and meets strong market demand for a slurry tanker that is compact, manoeuvrable and capable of operating in confined environments. Its short wheelbase makes manoeuvring easier in farmyards, on narrow roads and in fields with restricted access. With a wheelbase of 5.3 m, compared with 6.3 m for the SV12R, it is particularly well suited to farms located in hilly or mountainous areas.
The SV10R is available with two axle track widths, 1.80 m and 2.15 m, in order to meet the specific transport requirements of different markets. It can be fitted with large-diameter wheels of up to 38 inches while maintaining a controlled overall width for travelling on narrow roads. Depending on the approved configuration, it can also be combined with application equipment suited to its compact dimensions, including TSB1 trailing shoe booms, 12 m TSB2 trailing shoe booms or 9 m DHB1 drip hose booms.
Approved for both European and French markets and featuring the new dual-line braking configuration (H2L), the SV10R enables PICHON to strengthen its offering in new markets where compactness, stability and manoeuvrability are key criteria.
SV14: the right balance between capacity, stability and moderate power requirements
The new SV14 is positioned between the SV13 and SV16. With a capacity of 14,500 litres, it is designed for farmers and machinery cooperatives looking for a slurry tanker offering an intermediate capacity while remaining suitable for tractors with moderate power requirements. Designed with hilly and mountainous areas in mind, it provides a well-balanced combination of transport capacity, stability and ease of traction, particularly for farms operating tractors below 150 hp.
Available with three different tank configurations depending on the filling solution selected, the SV14 can be equipped with a BP2 filling arm, dipping arm or turret arm. It incorporates proven technical solutions from the SV range, including the same tank diameter as the SV16 and a BPW tandem axle also used on the SV13 and SV16. Depending on the approved configuration, it can be fitted with various application implements, including TSB trailing shoe booms, DHB dribble bar booms, IDs disc injectors and CTf incorporators.

The new PICHON SV10R slurry tanker will be presented at the Sommet de l’Élevage, taking place from 6 to 9 October 2026 in Clermont-Ferrand, France.
